Project name: Disaster Response Care Teams
Project description: Groups of two to five people who can work together on a service project for a six-month commitment comprise a Care Team. Teams partner with survivors following a disaster to walk with them through recovery. Team members help with the paperwork, put the survivors in touch with resources, and offer emotional and spiritual support.

After receiving training, Care Teams set their own appointments with disaster survivors to help return their lives to a new "normal."
