Project description: The ReStore is a home improvement outlet benefiting Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity's mission to build affordable housing in partnership with families in need. Our ability to save, sell or reuse unwanted materials benefits our community and environment by keeping these items out of the local landfills. The ReStore: A Home Improvement Outlet will recycle overstocked, discontinued, new and gently used items donated by manufacturers, stores, contractors, and individuals. These donated items will be sold to the public or used in Habitat for Humanity house construction. Revenue from sales go to the local affiliate in support of its home building program.
