Project name: Housing for homelss families
Project description: LASA provides emergency and transitional housing along with case management to Pierce County families with children. The case managers help the family create a plan to develop the skills to overcome their homelessness and keep permanent housing. Last month LASA took over management of a 4 bedroom Tacoma house that was home to 4 young women and their babies. This project, previoulsy operated by JumpStart closed their doors due to finances.
Ways the public can help: Food, Clothing, Toys, Hygiene/Personal Items, Heating/Housing Assistance, Volunteer Labor, Furniture/Household Goods, Medical/Dental Assistance, Mental Health Counseling, Job Training, Domestic Violence Recovery, Other
