Project name: Become a Mentor!
Project description: Give the gift of your friendship this holiday season. There are over 100 youth in Pierce County waiting for a positive role model. Mentoring is sharing fun, simple activities with a child 2-4 times a month in the community or spending an hour a week at a child's school. Being a mentor is a fun way to give back to the community all year long.

Big Brothers Big Sisters has waiting youth all over Pierce County, many of these are boys. Big Brothers Big Sisters also operates School-Based mentoring programs at 10 Pierce County schools. Mentoring programs are flexible enough to accommodate many different schedules.
