What do you see as the three top issues facing Federal Way?
A senior community center established within the city of Federal Way that is accessible by public transportation. Senior citizens deserve a facility upon which they can claim ownership.
Development of an economic and community city center. We have to create an economic engine in our city center. We need to promote unity through public festivals and city celebrations.
Promoting public safety by fostering community watch relationships between city, police officers and citizens.
What measures would you support to keep your city living within its means?
I would put on hold any major city projects until we can secure additional funding.
I would encourage voluntary "leave without pay" days for city employees (furlough) to reduce our city expenditures.
I would encourage city residents to spend their dollars within Federal Way Way as a measure to increase our tax revenue.
Why are you the best candidate for this office?
Federal Way needs an advocate. omeone who is willing to stand up and represent the needs of our city. I am not passive or soft spoken when it comes to championing causes. My 15 years of legal experience has prepared me for the challenging duties required of a city council member. I have knowledge which would benefit the city as it attempts to resolve municipal court dilemma. My goal is to unite our city.
